Green Deal Platform
Developed within the scope of the DS2 Horizon EU project
The platform will focus on analyzing and evaluating the effects of agriculture, traffic, industry, and households (energy–heating) on GHG emissions and air pollutants, predominantly focusing on Nitrogen dioxide – NO2 and PM2.5/PM10 particles and CH4 and N2O. The main impact of the platform is: providing systemic gathering and processing of the range of data, the pilot will establish direct communication with residents, local stakeholders and policy makers by providing real-time data about air pollutants and GHG emissions, with additional explanatory data and information around root causes and impacts of most influential localised agricultural, traffic, industrial and household (heating) activities, allowing awareness raising and operational/policy related strategies to be implemented and monitored.
